Annual meeting of the Australia Spain Business Association

The Spain Australia Council Foundation, represented by its General Coordinator, Vega Yubero, attended a lunch held after the Australia Spain Business Association’s meeting at Centro Riojano on April 8.

The event was attended by the Ambassadors of Australia and New Zealand, Virginia Greville and Michael Swain, as well as representatives of the Commercial Offices of the two countries. The President of ASBA and Corporate Business Director of NAVANTIA, Gonzalo Mateo-Guerrero, welcomed Carlos Pérez-Lescure, Head of Marketing at EXPAL, as the representative of a company which has just joined the Association.

The event was a good opportunity to evaluate the activities in which the Association has taken part and to plan potential actions for the coming year. Ambassador Virginia Greville thanked ASBA and the Spain Australia Council Foundation for their support for bilateral relations.

Founded in 1992 in Madrid, ASBA is a non-profit organisation devoted to business, cultural and social development between Spain and Australia.
