LinkedIn: a new communication channel for SACF

The Spain Australia Council Foundation started using LinkedIn at the beginning of the year. The aim of this new step in SACF’s communication strategy is to open a new channel to put Spanish and Australian professionals in contact and obtain useful, up-to-date information on bilateral relations and business opportunities.

The Spain Australia Council Foundation already has profiles on TwitterFacebook and YouTube. Corporate and institutional use of social media has become widespread in the past few years, and SACF became a pioneer among the Council Foundations backed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation when it launched its Twitter, Facebook and YouTube profiles back in 2012.

With the addition of LinkedIn, SACF seeks to further strengthen its communication strategy. Having built a brand image that enjoys strong recognition among the public, the Foundation will now work on enhancing brand engagement in the professional arena.
