XX Board Meeting of the Spain Australia Council Foundation
CAIXABANK joined the Foundation Board in this meeting, attended by the Secretary of State of Foreign Affairs
The Spain Australia Council Foundation held its twentieth meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation Headquarters.
The Secretary of State of Foreign Affairs, Fernando Valenzuela, attended to the meeting and updated the members of the Board about the political situation after the federal elections in Australia, as well as the progress done in the negotiations on the EU-Australia Free Trade Agreement.
CAIXABANK joined the Foundation Board in this meeting, as well as the General Director for North America, Eastern Europe, Asia and the Pacific of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Ana Sálomon, and the International Relations Director of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, Jaime Montalvo.
The representatives of the companies and institutions members of the Board took stock of the activities carried out during the last semester, as the
Discussion Forum on the EU-Australia FTA; and studied the events for the next six months like the V Edition of the Australian Leaders Program and the celebration in Canberra of the V Forum in which the Foundation has collaborated with the Spanish Researchers in Australia Pacific for the las five years.
