Elecnor completes work at the Goorambat East Terminal Station

A project that is part of the largest solar park in the Victoria region, managed by Engie Australia and operated by AusNet

The Spanish group Elecnor recently announced the completion of work on the new Goorambat East Terminal Station (GETS) in Australia. This project is part of the 250 MW Goorambat East solar park, the largest in the state of Victoria. The complex is managed by Engie AU, with AusNet operating the transmission network.

Elecnor Australia's work, in conjunction with Timco Transmission Lines, included the construction of the substation and its associated transmission lines, enabling the connection of 100% renewable energy to the electricity grid. The Goorambat East solar park has a generation capacity of up to 250 MW, enough to power up to 105,000 homes. It will also save up to 558,000 tons of CO2 emissions annually.
