Rosemary Morris-Castico discussed with the Leaders her participation in the Foundation Program | Ver el Resumen del Programa en PDF
The Spain-Australia Council Foundation maintains close contact with the Australian Embassy in Madrid, with whom it regularly collaborates on various activities.
For this reason, the Australian Leaders Program always includes a visit to the Australian Embassy in its agenda. In this edition, the Leaders shared lunch with Ambassador Rosemary Morris-Castico right at the midpoint of the Program, allowing them to discuss the meetings held so far and those planned for the coming days.
Rosemary Morris-Castico assumed the position of Australian Ambassador to Spain in July 2024, although she had previously served as Chargé d'Affaires, from 2014 to 2015. One of her first working meetings after presenting her Credentials to King Felipe VI was with the Spain-Australia Council Foundation. At the meeting, Rosemary Morris-Castico confirmed her interest in continuing to grow in the shared goals established by the FCEA and the Embassy. Australia is a strategic country for the internationalization of many Spanish companies, and the interconnection between its societies has grown significantly in recent years and in numerous areas.
